From 15th to 19th May 2024, ABE South Africa brought the wonders of biotechnology to the Yebo Gogga amaBlomo 2024 exhibition at the University of the Witwatersrand. This vibrant event was designed to spark curiosity and fascination with biological sciences, and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Our exhibit reached over 357 people, all of whom left with a greater appreciation for science. Visitors young and old were captivated by the hands-on activities, including our popular Micropipetting Art station, where they got to create colorful designs using real scientific tools! Our collaboration with the Sci-Bono team added an extra layer of excitement with insights into the insect life cycle. What an amazing way to connect with the public and share our passion for biotechnology!
