Vincitori progetto “Let’s Be a Scientist” – Edizione 2026

Organized by ABE Italy in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Meridionale and TIGEM

The selection process for the 2026 edition of Let’s Be a Scientist—a project promoted by ABE Italy in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Meridionale (SSM) and the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM)—was completed just a few weeks ago.

The six selected students will soon embark on an extraordinary journey: ten immersive days at the heart of scientific discovery, working side by side with leading scientists and researchers. Each student will be assigned to a different research group at TIGEM, taking on the role of a scientist and experiencing firsthand what it means to work in the world of scientific research.

Chosen through a rigorous test assessing knowledge and skills in biology and chemistry, the students will be guided throughout their experience by a TIGEM researcher, who will mentor them as they explore the fascinating and hands-on reality of laboratory science.

This project is not only an exceptional educational opportunity, but also a powerful way to inspire scientific vocations and foster meaningful connections between science and the younger generation.
