Mesopotamians were using hybrids of domesticated donkeys and wild asses to pull their war wagons 4,500 years ago — at least 500 years before horses were bred for the purpose, a new study reveals.

The new teachers participating in the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) Program completed their Phase I training (DNA Isolation, Micropipetting, and Gel Electrophoresis) after the face-to-face training sessions held at the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Biological Sciences on October 8th and 15th, followed by an online meeting on October 18th.
