ABE Turkey 2022-2023 Evaluation Meeting

ABE Turkey team met with teachers to make evaluations after the classroom practices of the 2022-2023 academic year.

22 people, including the programme team and teachers, attended the meeting held online on Monday, 12 June 2023. Within the scope of the Programme, which aims to improve the knowledge, skills and competencies of teachers in order to enable them to carry out research-inquiry-based biotechnology applications, teachers who carried out classroom practices in the 2022-23 academic year shared their experiences. Strengths and differences of classroom practices, challenges encountered in classroom practices, pedagogical goals and expectations from the project were among the topics shared.

During the meeting, information and reminders were given about the forms to be filled in for student and teacher participation certificates, thank you certificates for school administrators, ABE Turkey Expert Teacher application, Amgen Turkey "IamGENIUS Biotechnological Ideas Competition" and Amgen Foundation "Amgen Scholars Programme". Opinions and Suggestions for the Next Academic Year 2023-2024 The participating teachers' feelings about the 2023-2024 academic year, the points they want to improve themselves, their pedagogical goals and expectations were among the topics discussed.
