ABE Ireland is 10 years old! In celebration of this anniversary and its pivotal role in the Amgen Biotech Experience’s (ABE) 1 millionth student milestone, ABE Ireland has
announced a series of special grant awards totalling €20,000 aimed at amplifying the impact of its biotechnology education programme.
The Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) Ireland programme at University College Dublin is among 71 projects shortlisted across fourteen award categories in the 2024 Sustainable Business Impact Award by Chambers Ireland.
The Sustainable Business Impact Awards showcase best practice in sustainable development and social responsibility undertaken by companies of all sizes across Ireland.
In September 2021 we welcomed 19 transition year students from seven schools in Dublin and North Wicklow to the UCD Conway Institute and Systems Biology Ireland for an immersive week of hands on activities. Fifteen post-graduate and post-doctoral researchers from our two research institutes planned and delivered the week of activities for the students.
