The Amgen Biotech Experience Program was held at Kars Science High School!

Kars Fen Lisesi hosted a significant science event by joining the "Science Applications in High Schools" program, which is implemented in science high schools and Anatolian high schools admitting students through a central examination across Türkiye in the 2024-2025 academic year. An interactive talk on biotechnology and genetic engineering was held within the program, organized with contributions from Kafkas University and the ABE Kars team.

In this special event, Dr. Asya Uluğ, faculty member from Kafkas University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Kezban Yıldız Dalgınlı, faculty member, and lecturer Melek Öztürkler engaged with the students. The academics shared valuable information on the current role of biotechnology, genetic engineering applications, and the social impacts of scientific research.

Throughout the talk, students had the opportunity to gain insights into laboratory practices, interact directly with scientists, and explore career opportunities in the field of biotechnology. Within the scope of the event, the applications offered by the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) program were also introduced.
