The ABE Illinois site of the Amgen Biotech Experience supports biotechnology education in the Illinois area. Our program, located at Harry S Truman College, a two-year community college in the diverse Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, focuses on ABE's engaging, hands-on biotechnology lab curriculum. Teachers receive free training on the curriculum, and once trained, they can borrow materials and receive the technical support needed to implement the curriculum in their classrooms. All training and materials are provided at no cost to teachers.
