Our Team

Yi Jiang, ABE site director, got her PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. After that she has been a postdoctoral research associate at Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Rutgers University, NJ, USA. She is the director of the administration office of Tsinghua University Peking University Center for Life Sciences (CLS) and has been supervising nationwide annual summer camps on Tsinghua University for students and high school biology teachers for years. 

Peng Li, lecturer at the Center for Laboratory Training in Life Sciences, Tsinghua University, taught undergraduates’ lab courses for years. He is also very interested in psychology. He was certified as Global Career Development Facilitator (CCE, the Center for Credentialing and Education) and Board Certified Coach for career (CCE). He believes experiment operation is part of career education.

Min Xu, CLS Tsinghua office administrator, has been doing student work and has organized and coordinated summer camps for students and teachers for three years. Besides being alone, Min also likes to go out and try different sports with friends, like climbing mountains.

Yingzi Cui, is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University, focusing on viral invasion and pathogenesis, and has unique thinking on the application of biology to treat human diseases. She is passionate about education and science popularization and hopes to work to promote educational equity and expose more young people to the power of cutting-edge life science experiments.

Yaoxi Li, lab instructor, PhD, was engaged in researching plant non-coding RNA during her doctoral study at the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University. As a teaching postdoctoral fellow, She began teaching undergraduate molecular biology laboratory courses at the Center for Laboratory Training in Life Sciences, Tsinghua University, in 2023.

Caiping Ma, lab instructor, engineer of the Center for Laboratory Training in Life Sciences, Tsinghua University. Has been teaching undergraduates in microbiology teaching laboratories for years after she got her master degree from the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University . She thinks for students more earlier to touch the science experiments, more interests to get from the life science.

Fujin You, a doctoral student at the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University, specializes in the identification and functional research of non-coding RNA. Since 2021, he has been serving as a teaching assistant for molecular biology experiments, accumulating rich teaching and instructional experience in molecular experiments.
