Amgen Biotech Experience: Programmatic Materials

There is a plethora of materials created by the Amgen Biotech Experience Program Office, including lab guides, curriculum guides, and other class resources.

Click here to visit the ABE Program Office Curriculum & Resources page.

This includes lab-based investigations, classroom-based investigations, PD and upcoming events through ABE office, career connections, teacher-developed (across all 27 ABE sites), and ABE program site-developed materials. Our primary laboratory modules are Foundations of Biotech (delves into genetic engineering using restriction digest, bacterial transformation, gel electrophoresis, and PCR) and Exploring Precision Medicine, which explores some of the same techniques, besides transformation, in the context of personalized medicine and ethics.
